Welcome at Puerto Maldonado’s airport / transfer to the port and take the motor boat / arrival to Nái-Mecí Lodge / walks around our trail system / all meals / excursion to Sandoval Lake / transfer back to the port and to Puerto Maldonado’s airport.

Day 01:
Welcome at Puerto Maldonado’s airpot, transfer in bus to the port where our motor boat takes us on an hour ride on the Madre de Dios River toward Nái-Mecí Lodge. Receive an interesting briefing and discuss general rain forest ecology with our guide. Immediately after relaxing and refreshing at our luxurious bungalows.This allows visitors to be in direct contact with the butterflies. Trained guides explain about the life cycle and the natural history of these fascinating insects within a controlled tropical garden. Dinner and a short briefing for next day plans. As optional an interesting night walk to observe insects and amphibians. Overnight at Nái-Mecí Lodge.
We invite our guests to enjoy the swimming pool, the tropical bar, pool, darts and other games.
Day 02:
We leave Nái-Mecí Lodge after an early breakfast that will be offered. Once again our motor boat will take us on the river to observe the fabulous bird life until the port and to Puerto Maldonado’s airport.

Day 01:
Welcome at Puerto Maldonado’s airport, transfer in bus to the port where our motor boat takes us on an hour ride on the Madre de Dios River toward Nái-Mecí Lodge , briefing from our guide and discuss general rain forest ecology. Immediately after relaxing and refreshing at our fantastic bungalows, we can Start walking in the forest through the trail system, use the observation tower at the swamp and observe macaw nests and an amazing jungle sunset. Dinner and a short briefing for next day plans. As optional an interesting night walk to observe insects and amphibians. Overnight at Nái-Mecí Lodge.
We invite our guests to enjoy our swimming pool, our bar and all kind of games.
Day 02:
Breakfast will be offered for all our guests starting early activities. Once again our motor boat will take us on the river to observe the fabulous bird life until the rangers control and the entry to Sandoval Lake located in Tambopata Reserve. We start a 3 kilometer walk through an interesting trail until the Lake it self, board small canoes and paddle to observe monkeys, turtles, etc. and if you are lucky the family of Giant Otters. We walk back to our motorized boat and to our lodge. Dinner and overnight at Nái-Mecí Lodge.

Day 03:
We leave Nái-Mecí Lodge after breakfast in our boat toward the port and Puerto Maldonado’s airport.

Return to Nái-Mecí Lodge. Trained guides explain about the life cycle and the natural history of these fascinating and colorful insects within a controlled tropical garden.

Day 03:
Very early alter having breakfast, once again we leave in our boat toward “Taricaya Project” where our guide will explain how this project involves nature conservation and the rehabilitation of animals found or mistreat by humans.
It is possible to observe flora and fauna from the area walking through the trail system while our guide tales us some native legends and teach us all about medicinal plants. We have lunch and return to Nái-Mecí Lodge. Dinner and overnight a tour lodge.

Day 03:
This day we boat our motorized boat and go down stream the river toward a Ese-Eja ethnia Native Community. This boat ride offers an opportunity to observe the forest and the bird life. Once we arrive we can learn form some of the families about their cultural values, customs, language, get to know jungle fruits and products and the chance to buy some of their handmade crafts in a way to economically support them. Box lunch on the boat and return to Nái-Mecí Lodge .

Day 04:
Very early alter having breakfast, once again we leave in our boat toward “Taricaya Project” where our guide will explain how this project involves nature conservation and the rehabilitation of animals found or mistreat by humans. It is possible to observe flora and fauna from the area walking through the trail system while our guide tales us some native legends and teach us all about medicinal plants. We climb up the hanging bridge and walk to the tower to have a spectacular overview form the treetops. We have lunch and return to Nái-Mecí Lodge. Dinner and overnight a tour lodge.

Day 05:
We leave Nái-Mecí Lodge after breakfast in our boat toward the port and Puerto Maldonado’s airport.

Day 01:
Welcome at Puerto Maldonado’s airport, meet our naturalist bilingual guide, transfer to the Port where a covered boat take us for about 1 hour downstream the Bajo Madre de Dios River toward Nái-Mecí Lodge . From the boat it is possible to observe cocoi herons, snowy egrets, great egrets, black, turkey and yellow headed vultures, giant cowbirds, ospreys and others. During the ride our guide is going to offer an introduction to the rainforest itself. Immediately after arrival, a free time to relax in our fabulous bungalows and have lunch. A first walk though our interesting trail system where we can spot festive coquettes, blue crowned motmots, plumbeous kites, black billed trashes. Dinner, talk about this first experience in the Amazon jungle and a briefing for next day’s plans. As optional a short night walk to observe insects and amphibians. Overnight at Nái-Mecí Lodge.

Day 02
Breakfast will be offered since very early morning. Again from our motor boat we can observe many different species of birds on the way to the rangers control and the entry to Sandoval Lake located in Tambopata Reserve. We start a 3 kilometers hike through an interesting trail until the Lake itself and look for blue-crowned trogons, Agami Herons, Ivory-billed Aracaris, Reddish hermits, squirrel cockoos, and then board small canoes and paddle trying to observe monkeys, turtles, bats and if lucky the family of Giant Otters. At this fabulous lake it is possible to spot tiger herons, cocoi herons, cormorants, anhingas, red capped cardinals, amazon kingfishers, ringed kingfishers, Leddered aracaris, sungrebes and many others. Box Lunch. We walk back to our motorized boat and to Nái-Mecí Lodge.
After relaxing we can walk around the trails to have the chance to see chestnut-fronted macaws, blue and yellow macaws, white necked thrushes, parrot nests and an incredible jungle sunset. Dinner and overnight at Nái-Mecí Lodge.

DAY 03:
After an early breakfast, we’ll set off on a one-day boat trip (with lunch on board) to the macaw clay lickor Collpa . On our way along the Bajo Madre de Dios River and the border between Peru and Bolivia we enter the Heath River and this incredible ecosystem of amazon jungle and pampas, we will observe animals such as white caimans, turtles, many families of capibaras and a variety of birds such as red caped cardinals, sand colored night-hawks, Ledder tailed nightjars, ocellanted poorwills, ringed kingfishers and many more. We arrive to a nice beach where we setup camp and enjoy dinner.
DAY 04:
Once again, very early, we’ll visit a hidden shelter to observe the clay lick wall and wait for the arrival of parrots, parakeets and macaws. It is possible to easily observe Yellow crowned parrots, blue headed parrots, orange cheeked parrots, peach-fronted parakeets, mealy parrots, tui parakeets, cobald-winged parakeets, red and green macaws. We will have the opportunity to see an amazing sunrise. We’ll return to our campsite for breakfast, then pack up and board our motorized river boat upstream to Nái-Mecí Lodge . We enjoy lunch on a relaxing ride.

Day 05:
Alter breakfast we leave Nái-Mecí Lodge. Our boat will take us to Puerto Maldonado Port and then continue by bus to the airport.
